The TGV tunnels of Girona, entirely dug

The construction of tunnels reserved for high-speed line in the area of Girona was completed November 3, 2011. The gallery excavated, including the explosive under the common Sarrià de Ter and Sant Julià de Ramis, north of Girona, represented the final stage of this project, which included the extraction of 297,000 m3 of earth.

Perpignan, Figueres and Girona, to a joint territorial marketing

The geographical axis defined by the cities of Perpignan, Girona and Figueres, is moving towards a union in order to propel a common image abroad. This innovative project has focused the first panel discussion entitled "Perpignan + Girona, a possible addition?" Held Friday, October 21, 2011 by the think tank Opencat at the Hotel of Greater Perpignan Méditerranée.

Label of excellence in Tourism and in Water for the University of Girona

The University of Girona has received on October 21st, 2011 the label of Campus of Regional Excellence, include in a Euro project of Campus-Mediterranean of the Tourism and of the Water.
